Jumpboard
Pilates Jumpboard classes offer a unique and dynamic workout that combines the principles of Pilates with cardiovascular exercise. Here are some benefits and reasons why you should consider incorporating Jumpboard classes into your fitness routine.
Cardiovascular fitness
Jumpboard classes elevate your heart rate, providing an effective cardiovascular workout. The continuous jumping movements engage large muscle groups, improving your overall cardiovascular health and endurance.

Low-impact exercise
Unlike traditional high-impact cardio workouts like running or jumping, Pilates Jumpboard classes are low-impact, reducing stress on your joints while still delivering an intense workout. This makes it suitable for individuals with joint issues or those recovering from injuries.

Improved strength and muscle tone
Jumpboard exercises target various muscle groups, including the legs, glutes, core, and arms. By incorporating resistance and dynamic movements, these classes help build strength, increase muscle tone, and improve overall body composition.

Enhanced core stability and balance
Pilates principles focus on core strength, stability, and control. Jumpboard exercises require core engagement to maintain proper form and balance while jumping, leading to improved core stability and balance over time.

Increased flexibility and mobility
Pilates Jumpboard classes often include stretching and mobility exercises, helping to improve flexibility and range of motion. This can lead to reduced muscle tension, improved posture, and decreased risk of injury.

Mind-body connection
Like traditional Pilates, Jumpboard classes emphasise mindfulness, concentration, and breath control. By focusing on proper alignment and controlled movements, you can enhance your mind-body connection, leading to increased body awareness and stress reduction.

Variety and fun
Jumpboard classes offer a dynamic and engaging workout experience that can help prevent boredom and keep you motivated to stick with your fitness routine. The variety of exercises and combinations keep the workout interesting and enjoyable.
Remember to bring your sweat towel!
